We can’t wait to see you!
P.S… We’re Dog Friendly!
We launched Lily’s Kitchen because we wanted to find a way of creating opportunities for people from all walks of life to access work and training. We wanted to challenge the idea work and training are only available for some us. We wanted to use our love of food, community and the environment to feed into our ambitions. This is how Lily’s became a community.
What We Offer
Professional catering for events, parties and weddings.
The Hub Café next to Canterbury Baptist Church is a joint venture with the Church – we have a café, lots of space for groups and a community fridge for tops ups when you need them. At the Hub we have a pay-as-you-feel system.
Pay it forward – you can buy a hot meal, sandwich, or drink for a homeless person when you buy something from us.
All our activities are populated by a community of trainees, apprentices and volunteers.
Our bistro in Canterbury City Centre serves breakfast, lunch and cake, plus we have a licensed bar. Its also available for rental.
Seasonal Recipe Kits – Our seasonal recipe kits come with measured out ingredients and full instructions so you can enjoy fuss-free, tasty dishes at home.
Cooking lessons – we do this for pre-schoolers as well as others who want to improve their skills.
We are still taking orders for food deliveries, parties, cakes and food parcels.
WE OFFER MORE CLASSES FOR CHILDREN OF ALL AGES & ABILITIES.
For more information on our other sessions either look on our Facebook page, or get in touch!
We are supported by many different organisations who have been a huge help in the development of Lily’s over the past few years.
Bemix work with local communities so that people with learning difficulties become fully included and no longer segregated. We work closely with Bemix to provide opportunities for vulnerable people to gain work experience and valuable employability skills.
