Simon’s Incredible Ride for Lily’s

We are absolutely thrilled to share some amazing news from Lily’s Social Kitchen. Our brilliant Treasurer, Simon Tully, has completed a phenomenal fundraising challenge! In just 12 hours of his working day, Simon cycled an incredible 354.5 km as part of his “Ride While You Work” challenge.

Simon’s dedication doesn’t just stop at the boardroom. As Treasurer of Lily’s, he brings a wealth of financial expertise from his work with Kent business COOK, directly helping to make Lily’s a thriving, sustainable Community Interest Company (CIC). His passion for supporting businesses with heart shines through everything he does and this challenge is a perfect example.

The funds raised through Simon’s efforts will go directly towards upgrading our IT equipment. This investment will make a huge difference to the daily operations at Lily’s, giving our hardworking team the tools they need to continue providing amazing opportunities. Costs like these can be a huge hit for small social enterprises, so fundraising like Simon’s is absolutely vital.

We are enormously grateful to Simon for his incredible achievement, and to everyone who has supported him so far. There’s still time to donate before the fundraising page closes this Friday. Every contribution, big or small, will have a real impact! Donate here.

Inspired by Simon’s journey? We’d love for you to consider Lily’s Social Kitchen for your next fundraising adventure. Together, we can continue to change lives, one pedal stroke – or step – at a time!
