Exciting Changes to Our Supported Internship Programme

Rolling Intake – More Flexibility, More Opportunities

Until now, we’ve had just one intake per year for our Supported Internship Programme. We know this hasn’t always worked for everyone, especially for those who may begin another education pathway but find that it isn’t the right fit, or who struggle with attendance at a set start date.

That’s why, in response to feedback, we are introducing from January 2026, a rolling intake. This means that learners can now join our programme at any point in the year – provided they meet the entry criteria and we have a suitable placement available.

This change gives us the flexibility to fill all our spaces throughout the year, ensuring that we don’t run with vacancies when we know there is such strong demand for the high-quality internships we offer.

Why This Matters

• Better access: Learners don’t have to wait months for the next intake – they can start when it’s right for them.
• Tailored support: Rolling intake means we can adapt placements to suit the individual’s needs and learning journey.
• Maximised impact: Every space in our programme can now be used to help someone gain the skills, confidence, and experience they need for employment.
